As for me the bio and mission pages tell the full story. But I want to introduce myself here as this is the front page so to speak. At 46, I have done a lot of things in my life so far. As a kid I got into playing sports and playing in rock bands. I was always athletic and I enjoyed being on the field or on the court.
Being a musician I loved being on stage.
After high school, I wandered around trying to find my way. I spent some time at college, and I tried a lot of jobs. But I was never totally happy. I was young and I was free, and I knew I would find my home someday. To be honest, my dream was to be a famous musician.
I saw myself up on stage playing to crowds of kids all over the world. I had jobs but never took them very seriously because I was convinced my rock star dream would come true. During that time I became a certified personal trainer but like the jobs I had, I didn’t really pursue that either.
Well I had played in bands from age 12 until I was 39, and by now my son Andrew was already 7. It was time for me to face the reality that this dream wasn’t going to come true. I had to find or build a career that would support not only myself, but more importantly him too. It was at this time that Andrew got into sports. But I couldn’t just sit there and watch, I had to be on the court or on the field with him. I had to be where the action was. The answer was clear, I had to coach. Having playing in front of a live audience for the first time at age 12, I was very comfortable being around people so it was a good fit.
